Campus entrance sign at the April 2026 field survey — fabrication and installation follow in fall 2026

Scope

Repair and replacement of deteriorated exterior campus signage across the SUNY Oswego campus, delivered as general contractor with a signage fabrication partner as subcontractor: field survey and measurements, fabrication drawings and submittals, and on-campus installation under prevailing-wage requirements.

Challenge
Seven-plus sign locations spread across an active campus, a fabrication lead time that had to be reconciled with the academic calendar, and state contract approvals that determine when work can start.
Solution
Site meetings with the university's purchasing and facilities staff, a fabrication partner lined up, and submittals prepared while the contract moved through Office of the State Comptroller review.
Result
Contract fully approved and purchase order issued in August 2026; kick-off, fabrication and installation scheduled for fall 2026.
